This is great. I was there in 1987 and came within a pubic hair of getting my head torn off when I got out of a tuk tuk as another one cut between mine and the curb.

The only thing that is missing from this film is an elephant, which I saw on one of these wide boulevards. Thanks.

Is this taken from the walking bridge? It’s difficult to tell… but i think Paragon is on the left and “Big C” is on the right?? Correct? If so, then in the movie theater complex (above “Big C”) is where i helped produce the live, stage version of “Dracula” in Feb of ’06. Regardless of where this is it brought back memories of crossing that bridge every day to go to work and never being less amazed at the traffic below!

Based on this footage I think Bangkok’s Thai drivers are much more organized and follow the rules better than other Asian countries like China and Vietnam.

imagine this for a second ok. so this guy comes into the offic one day and asks why not put the traffic on 2 stories instead of one. then he said “that would be Los angeles.” one thing I didn’t think of it 4 stories of traffic with each story being a different interstate, just like a computers quad core. then I got to thinking about it some more. and finally i said well put a reversable system to adjust traffic flow.

Based on my knowledge i think Japanese drivers are much more organized and follow rules better than Thailand.
